Interpreting Asphalt cycle and footway condition score

The Asphalt cycle and footway condition score is based on the Asphalt condition (new) score. It uses similar distress deduct value curves and limits the compounding effect of multiple distresses at the same location. Because cycleways and footways are typically narrower than roads, the distress deduct value curves have been adjusted to reflect this difference. This ensures the system produces appropriate condition score values for these types of infrastructure.
