Creating annotations
Annotations are used to create a note on a map and to add optional comments or tags to further describe them. They can be a simple pin on a map, or they can be audio notes that can be listened to while watching the recording. For example, you can use annotations for:
- Marking traffic hazards in high‑speed sections of a road during a safety inspection when it is not possible to safely stop
- Creating points for a data set that is not currently automatically detected by RoadAI
- Marking the start and end points of repair and maintenance schemes
Annotations can have any tag or comment, so they can be used in whichever way your organization needs.
