Viewing line marking data on map

There are two different approaches to view line marking condition data on the map.
  1. By viewing the average condition of all detected lines:
    1. In the main menu, go to Data.
    2. At the bottom right, enable the Road network or Videos feature layer.
The data overlay window appears in the upper right corner. By default, the Road surface condition overlay is displayed.
    3. Select the current data overlay and change it to Line markings > Condition > Average. The color-coded overlay appears and allows to identify sections that are, for example, in good condition or bad condition. The percentage is the line markings' condition score.
  2. By viewing the condition of specific lines:
    1. In the main menu, go to Data.
    2. At the bottom right, enable the Road network or Videos feature layer.
The data overlay window appears in the upper right corner. By default, the Road surface condition overlay is displayed.
    3. In the data overlays, go to Line markings > Condition and, for example, Center left.
To get the best overall view of the line markings' condition in multi-lane scenarios, use the Average condition score when inspecting the data, as switching lanes while surveying has an impact on how different lines are indexed.
Road sections with no data on a data overlay can happen because of respective lines not existing on that particular road section or due to lines being too faint to be detectable by the system.
