Managing folder access

When giving recording permission to a user into a new folder, make sure the user has Internet access when launching the RoadAI Mobile Application for the first time after being granted the recording permission, so that the new permission can synchronize.
  1. In the main menu, go to Settings > Folders.
  2. Locate the folder you want to manage access to.
    tip Type the name of the folder in the Filter by name field if the list is long.
  3. Select the pencil icon to edit the folder access settings.
  4. Under User rights, select a type of user rights.
    It is not possible to use the default permissions if All is selected as the type of user rights.
  5. Permissions can be set in two different ways. Both can be used simultaneously.
    1. Pick one or several permissions under Default permissions, and use the toggle button to enable them for all users matching the selected user rights.
    2. Set customized permissions for specific users by using the drop-down list in the Permissions column. For example, to add recording permission to a recording user, select All to find the user in the list, select the downwards pointing arrow in the Permissions column, and select Record.
    If no user is granted the Record permission, it will not be possible to record any video into the folder.
  6. When all changes are done, select Close.
