Data validity filters in reports
When you create a line data report, you can filter the data using individual data validity factors assessed in the recorded videos. Data from videos that do not match the selected criteria is excluded from the report.
Validity
- Valid: The minimum criteria set for a road video are met.
 - Invalid: For example, no road is detected or the road is not prominent enough.

Lighting condition
- Bright (recommended): There is enough light for the camera to produce optimal technical video quality.
 - Dark: Data quality decreases significantly because of insufficient lighting. This can lead to a lack of information and motion blur in the video.

Road surface lighting
- Even lighting (recommended): The road surface is evenly lit. Dark shadows caused by bright sunlight and a clear sky can obscure details and affect road surface condition assessment.
 - Good exposure (recommended): The exposure level is suitable for assessment. Low exposure can result in dark road images and affect road surface condition assessment.

Surface type
- Asphalt (default): Road surface condition assessment is designed for this surface type.
 - Concrete: Select this option when you create a concrete road surface condition report.
 - Paver blocks: Road surface condition assessment is not supported.
 - Cobblestone: Road surface condition assessment is not supported.
 - Gravel: Road surface condition assessment is not supported.

Weather condition
- Dry (recommended): Dry weather ensures clear visibility of the road and the environment.
 - Wet: Wet weather can reduce visibility.

Surface state
- Dry (recommended): The road surface is dry.
 - Wet: Water on the road surface can hide details or make certain distresses, such as cracks, appear worse than they are. This can happen when the road is drying but some moisture is still present in the distresses.
